Appearance:
Celeste is about average height for a girl at 5 foot and 5 inches. She very thin. Not from an eating disorder or anything, but she's just always been thin. She has green eyes that have specks of brown and blue in them. ANd her hair is really thick and it's past her shoulders, though she normally wears it up when she's working at the school.
Abilities: Possession
Personality: Celeste is a very caring and dedicated person. She's only ever known taking care of other people, so being a nurse is second nature to her and feels as natural as breathing. She's easy to talk to and very open to helping the students and not just with their medical problems. But just like anybody else, there are things that even she doesn't want to talk about. And she doesn't believe in sugar-coating things either, so she tends to be a bit blunt.
Dislikes:rudeness, cruelty, people making assumptions, people talking out of their asses
Likes: helping others, reading, singing, getting things accomplished
Weapon of choice: She doesn't have one, she doesn't like weapons, but under the right circumstances, she considers her mind a very useful weapon.
Weakness: She tends to think of the students as her children, so they are by far her biggest weakness. Her loyalities and passions can also be used against her.
Family: Francis Morvant (mom, dead); Jacob Morvant (dad, dead); Dylan Morvant (younger brother, dead); Micha (older brother, missing, 30 years old)
History:
Background: Celeste was born two years after her older brother Micha. As they grew up, they become close, best friends even. And it wasn't because of any tragedy that made them close, but it was the love of their parents and the warmness of their household. But something changed all their lifes when Celeste was seven. At that point her little brother Dylan was born. Dylan happened to be severely mentally handicapped. He spent all his time as an infant and young toddler in a hospital. Then once he was older, he was able to come home.
It was difficult for everybody though. Micha acted as though he had no younger brother and completely withdrew from the family. Celeste's parents said they wanted to be there to help him but they had to work and Celeste doubted that they actually wanted to be there. Celeste took on the responsibilities of taking care of Dylan. Bathing him, feeding him, changing the diapers he wore all his life. It drove a wedge between their family. Her house wasn't filled with the laughter that it once was. It was always quiet. They barely spoke to one another. Their house turned cold. And in the end, Celeste needed Micha as much as he needed her.
Tragedy struck when Celeste was nineteen and her parents were killed in a random act of violence of the war. After ther parents died, Micha disappeared. The majority of her parents money was left to Celeste. It was enough to hire a well trained nurse to take care of Dylan and for her to go to college and get a nursing degree so she could finally do everything Dylan needed. She was thrilled when she graduated. But a year ago in the middle of the night, Dylan had a stroke. Celeste tried to do everything she could, but it wasn't enough and Dylan died that after noon. She didn't bother trying to find Micha to tell him. Celeste didn't know anything but taking care of others, which brought her to this fine school as a nurse.
Sample RP:
Angie waddled around the park. She loved this park. She was always here. Well when she wasn’t with Craven that is. She sighed as she continued walking, her hand bracing her lower back. Her pregnancy had flown by. She’d been told it was because the baby was half vampire. Angie sighed again. People walking by were staring at her and her large belly. It made blush and get a bit upset. She wanted people to stop staring at her and walking up to her and assuming they could touch her belly. She didn’t know them! She didn’t want them touching her! She was in a grumpy mood and was having a hard time controlling her powers since she got pregnant. Normally she’d have it overcast, but warm. Right now though, the clouds were dark and looming and there was a definite chill in the air.
She loved the little baby in her, but she wanted it out of her already. She wanted to hold her little angel in her arms. She huffed. Not only did she want to hold her angel, she wanted for her body to not ache anymore. And she’d been so grumpy. She’d been snapping at people. She didn’t mean to. It was tiring her out. She’d be sobbing one minute for no reason, then be ridiculously happy, and then mad as hell, all within five minutes. She didn’t know what was wrong with her. She felt absolutely crazy sometimes. And because of that, she’d been trying to see Craven as little as possible for the past week or two. She didn’t want him to think she was crazy like she thought she was. But she knew he was watching. She glanced over to a bench in the park and saw a crow there, watching her. She smiled softly at the crow and walked over to it slowly. As much as she didn’t want him to see her as a crazy person, she was glad he was watching.
She stopped about five feet away from the bird and leaned against a tree, watching it as it watched her. She smiled.
“Let Craven know I love him? And that once I’m back to normal we’ll both we back in his arms again.”
She ran her hand across her stomach as she said we. She began to feel a little guilty as the crow watched her, feeling like its eyes were accusing her of ignoring Craven.
“I do love him. I do. Honestly. I… I’ve been acting crazy. I didn’t want him to see me like that… I-I don’t want him to fall out of love with me.”
The bird continued to stare at her and cocked its head to the side as she spoke. She blushed as people walked by her and stared. Oh great, she thought, now they all think I’m crazy too because I’m talking to a bird. She sighed and shook her head. They were either thinking that or we’re thinking she was a slut for being so young and pregnant. She bowed her head. She was. Even she thought so. She met Craven and slept with him the same night. It may have been her first time, but she still ended up pregnant. She closed her eyes and for a moment tried to imagine what she would’ve done if her parents and brother were still alive. But she gave up quickly. This wouldn’t have happened if they were still alive. She wouldn’t have gotten pregnant. She wouldn’t have had sex… Worst of all, she wouldn’t have met Craven. She frowned. That’s what it came down to in her mind, Craven and their child or her dead family. She gnawed her lip. She didn’t even know the baby inside of her, but she’d do anything for it. And the thought of not having it around… she couldn’t let herself think of that. But she refused to be happy that her family had died. She thought of finding Craven and getting pregnant more as the silver lining.
She leaned her head back and sighed softly. Just then she felt a liquid run down the leg of her pants. Her eyes snapped open and she stared down at her legs.
“What the hell?”
Great, she thought, I’m wetting my pants now!?! Just then it clicked in her head what was happening.
“Oh god…”
Her eyes quickly looked up to the bird’s. It looked at her legs, then slowly looked her in the eye, looking as shocked as a bird possible could. She watched as the bird began to flap its wings about and caw out loudly. She looked around and people were staring at her with concern. Oh god, she thought, go away all you people just go away! She looked around. There was a wooded area not to far and it was heavily shaded. She quickly waddled over, waving people away as they tried to help her. She leaned against a few of the trees when she finally got there. She was worried somebody might see Craven’s wings if he came to her and try to hurt him. She stroked her stomach and she panted. She called for him.
“Craven!”
She held her stomach protectively; watching people as they stared at the wooded area, but slowly went back to what they were doing. She was breathing heavily from waddling as fast she could as she spoke.
“Craven… I’m sorry… I just didn’t want you to… stop loving me… it was selfish… I’m sorry… I won’t ever stay away from you again… please. I need you.”
She leaned her head back onto the trees as she waited for him.
