Moki was definitely deterred a bit when she learned that most shape shifters could turn into more then just one specific animal. Her first class was rather embarrassing, all the other kids had a long list of animals they've changed into, and her...just a fox...But it was all she knew how to do. A fact she wanted to change, and soon.
She scanned over the books in the study, searching for anything on shape shifting. Her teacher suggested getting a tutor to help her, but she absolutely hated the idea of relying on another student for help. She wasn't a charity case...she was hoping a bit of studying up on her powers would be all the help she'd need. After all, it's not like she ever really had anyone to teach her before now. Her dad was the magic one in the family, and he was almost never around in her life. And now that she knows she's behind she has no issue teaching herself.
She noticed a few other students in the study giving her strange looks, most likely because she wore her uniform a bit differently then others. Instead of wearing the button down shirt actually buttoned, she tied the two ends off just under her chest. She hated things covering her belly, it felt so unnatural to her, then again, no one where she grew up wore much clothing...

Thought it wasn't something that he liked to brag about or own up to there was no denying that Dominic loved to read. The few people that knew how much time he spent reading might have classified him as a bibliophile. Back at his parents manor he would spend hours in the library, pouring over books that no one had touched in centuries.
Luckily before he had left he had managed to bring a few of his favorites with him, books that he had read dozens of times in the past, books that he knew word for word but that he loved despite that. He sat at a table a few of those with him now, hoping to spend a few hours by himself in a bit of peace and quiet. Despite how much he loved being the center of attention he needed a little bit of time to himself with a book every once in a while.
Shifting a little bit in his seat Dominic stretched in his chair though he didn't feel any cramps in his joints. It was something he had yet to grow used to, all the tiny aches and pains that came with being a human had vanished after that fateful night in the garden. He had yet to rid himself of instictive motions like stretching though... the body didn't forget things easily.
As he stretched his eyes happened to catch something usual, brunette, attractive. That wasn't the odd part though, what made her stand out was how she wore her school uniform, tied up instead of buttoned down. He had to smirk a little bit at that one, this had been an all boys school until about a year ago and he knew that this had to be causing something of a stir amoung the young men not yet grown used to attractive young women in the school.
