School hadn't officially started yet but Dominic was still there, living in the Sinara dorm with special permission from the school. They were rather understanding of his situation, parents who hated him because of what he had become and would no longer tolerate him living in their home. Because of this and similar policies from the school he had previously attended he now found himself at St Avalon, a special amulet they provided him allowing him to move during the daylight hours.
But it wasn't daylight now, the sun had set hours before and now Dominic was looking to do something he hadn't done since arriving here a few days before, he needed to feed.
Its not that he didn't still eat normal food, a part of him enjoyed it even if it was a bit bland and tasteless ever since he had risen as a vampire... but his body craved blood and if he didn't feed soon he would be in quite a bit of pain.
Now under the cover of darkness he moved through the park, looking for a victim to feed on. Though he hadn't been a vampire for long he had quickly learned how to track and hunt silent as a vampire that had been around for decades.
His thoughts were interrupted a few seconds later, the scent of warm blood in the air, not spilled but close.
He knew it was against the rules, he knew the school provided blood to those who needed it... but when he had retched painfully, it was stale and dead. He needed fresh blood, if it wasn't fresh he just couldn't stomach it.
The choice was no choice at all, he would hunt... take only what he needed.
With his fangs extended and a smile splitting his face he set out toward the source of the scent.

Celeste sighed as she carried her armful of bags back to the castle. She'd been hired to stay there year long for the special students who weren't forced to go home. If something happened, the hurt kids would still need a nurse. Which was the cause for her outing tonight. Some had hurt themselves and she needed to stock back up on supplies, plus she needed a few things herself.
She lugged them back towards the castle, wishing now that she owned a car more then ever. But she had always prefered walking. It was good exercize and she loved the fresh air. She stopped for a moment, set her bags down, and stretched out her arms. The handles were pressing into her arms, threatening to cut cut them a little, if she didn't set them down.
Celeste looked around. She was debating possessing somebody near by to come and help her carry the bags. She didn't like using her powers like that, but she could get over that little fact.
But she didn't think she'd need to possess anybody as she noticed somebody walking toward her. She thought he looked a little familiar, but she couldn't be sure. She'd always been horrible at remembering people.
[yellow]"Excuse me... Would you mind helping me carrying these bags to the castle? They're a bit heavy for me to carry by myself."[/yellow]
She decided that even if he said no, she'd possess him anyway. She had better control of her powers now. She wouldn't make this one accidently kill himself. She was sure of it. But she didn't want to risk it, so she thought she'd play up the fact that it was night and dark and possibly dangerous.
[yellow]"Please help me... The castle... it's a bit of a walk and it's dark out... I'm... a little frightened..."[/yellow]
She knew most males couldn't help but to play the knight and shining armour to some damsel in distress. She just hoped that this guy was no different. But she hated doing that. She wasn't a damsel in distress and she hated for anybody to see her that way.

He could see his soon to be victim now, and he had to say that she was pefect. At least in terms of a potential meal.
Many guys tended to make a lot of decisions based on the brain that hung below the belt and Dominic, even as a vampire was no different. He liked his blood fresh and he prefered them to be attractive and female. It just felt a little bit strange for him to feed off a guy, just was a bit odd to him.
Just like it felt odd when the woman he was approaching called out to him, that wasn't how it was supposed to happen. When someone approached you out of the dark, vampire or otherwise, you were supposed to run or at least be nervous. You weren't supposed to call out to them and ask them to help carry some bags.
Hell it wasn't nearly as much fun if they weren't afraid or running, maybe she wasn't all there in the head or something. Didn't matter though, he had been thrown off and wasn't quite feeling the urge to hunt as strongly now. There was also the possibility that she didn't need to be afraid, that she could take care of herself if things went wrong.
Either way he had been thrown off, his desire to hunt suppressed by his curiosity. "Um... sure I can help you." He said after thinking it over for a moment. He considered trying to read her mind to figure out what was going on but he wasn't very good at that yet.

Celeste sighed internally when he took a moment to think about it, thinking herself that he was going to say no. She smiled widely at him when he said yes. [yellow]Thank you very much. It's very kind of you to help me Mr. .... I'm sorry... What's your name?[/yellow]
She held out a handful of the bags to him, smiling. She really appreciated his help. She couldn't risk getting cuts in her arms out here. The student vampires weren't supposed to hunt, but that didn't always stop them. And she would never use her power on a student. Even if she was in danger. The ones she knew well, they were like her children. And she could never take control of her kids like that.
She smiled at him and tried to make polite chit-chat. [yellow]Do you attend the acade-[/yellow]
Suddenly she tripped, dropping her bags and cutting up her legs and hands. She chuckled once and got up, brushing herself off.
[yellow]I'm sorry, just a bit clumsy...[/yellow] She examined her knee and chuckled. [yellow]I'd like to be able to say this is the first time I'll have to give myself stitches, but it's not.[/yellow]
Comments: Sorry to make it hard on him, but this charrie is exactly like me, and this would happen. I am very clumsy.
