THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA
The year is 2009.
The place is New York City.
Fashion is at the center of it all.
ANDREA SACHS, a recently graduated journalist, has just earned herself the position that “a million girls would die for.” She is the new junior assistant to MIRANDA PRIESTLY, editor-in-chief of the esteemed fashion magazine called Runway.
Andy has never been a fashionable girl, and she does not expect to become one. In fact, she is almost determined to work for Miranda and maintain her usual sense of style and demeanor. She only has to work there for a year before she can find a better job at another publication; at least then she would be able to write something worthwhile and get credit for it.
But everything takes a wicked turn when Andy is given a little piece of the fashion world.
Will Andy be able to shake her sudden feeling of wanting to fashion up and fit in? Will she be able to survive Miranda long enough to get credit for her time as a junior assistant? Well, we will just have to wait and see.
